Eric Roberson: 2011 Grammy Nominee




Tonight the Grammy Awards are on CBS, and it could possibly be one of the best Grammy shows in a while. One of the nominees is Eric Roberson.

In addition to being a talented songwriter and performer, Eric Roberson is considered, "The King of Independent Soul". In fifteen years, Roberson has has released seven albums - six of which have been independently released. Roberson is Grammy-nominated for the Best Urban/Alternative Performance category. This marks his second Grammy-nomination.

Roberson's "Still" is not only a beautiful song, but the video itself has a prominent message for women to get themselves regular mammograms for early detection of breast cancer.

Physically, Roberson is a King, but he is definately a King, when it comes to positive music.

I have this CD, bought it online last year and it's AWESOME! Especially the song "Still", "Borrow You" and check out the duet with Lela Hathaway in "Where Do We Go From Here". He should have won (if he didn't)
