With all things considered between these two large hip hop legends....who adds up with looks, music, flow, sex appeal, style etc.. Who is easier on the eyes? Who is sexier? Take the poll.
Tonight the Grammy Awards are on CBS, and it could possibly be one of the best Grammy shows in a while. One of the nominees is Eric Roberson.
In addition to being a talented songwriter and performer, Eric Roberson is considered, "The King of Independent Soul". In fifteen years, Roberson has has released seven albums - six of which have been independently released. Roberson is Grammy-nominated for the Best Urban/Alternative Performance category. This marks his second Grammy-nomination.
Roberson's "Still" is not only a beautiful song, but the video itself has a prominent message for women to get themselves regular mammograms for early detection of breast cancer.
Physically, Roberson is a King, but he is definately a King, when it comes to positive music.
Roberson's category includes nominees: Bilal, Little One Cee Lo Green, F*** You Carolyn Malachi, Orion
Who do you think should win the category tonight? Take the poll.
Michael Lynche is a contestant on this season's American Idol. Big boy has pipes (no pun intended) so it is unbelieveable that he was almost voted off the show last week. This week he gave a great performance.
Yes, he can be a little arrogant, but if American Idol is a "singing competition" then Michael Lynche deserves to be a top three finalist along with Crystal Bowersox and Casey James.
The video is quick. The rap is cool and smooth. And Rick is trying to project some sex appeal as he always does. I think Rick is one of the most comfortable big rappers EVER when it comes to taking off his clothes.
"Come on baby let's do the twist Come on baby let's do the twist Take me by my little hand and go like this Ee-oh twist baby baby twist Oooh-yeah just like this Come on little miss and do the twist"
Influenced by Funk bands such as Funkadelic, James Brown, George Clinton, Kraftwerk, Parliament, Afrika Bambaataa (born April 19, 1957) is an American DJ from the South Bronx. He was instrumental in the early development of hip hop throughout the 1980s. Afrika Bambaataa is one of the three main originators of break-beat deejaying, and is respectfully known as the "Grandfather" and "Godfather" and The Amen Ra of Universal Hip Hop Culture as well as The Father of The Electro Funk Sound.
Like many of the early pioneers in hip hop, he is of Caribbean descent (Jamaican). On September 27, 2007, he was nominated for induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. - Wikipedia
K-Jon is the new R&B hot man. "On The Ocean" is a beautiful song with beautiful lyrics and production, but they were kinda wrong for having the video shoot at a restaurant that has burglar bars on the windows and doors. Not hatin'. I'm just sayin'.
Check out K-Jon's new song, "This Time". It is just as smooth as his first single.
The photos show music artist Amy Winehouse with her FINE ASS bodyguard, Neville. In the first set, Amy and Neville were spotted taking a recent stroll in St. Lucia. Gossip has it that she is/was involved in a fling with Neville.
Unfortunately, Winehouse, like Whitney Houston, succumbed to a really bad drug addiction over recent years. Winehouse was a fairly attractive woman before she became an addict. Check out the amazing before and after photos here.
Maybe Amy could get some recovery/comeback pointers from Whitney.
My Amy Winehouse Playlist 1. Mr. Magic 2. You Sent Me Flying 3. In My Bed 4. Some Unholy War 5. Love Is A Losing Game 6. You Know I'm No Good 7. Tears Dry On Their On 8. Fool's Gold 9. I Heard Love Is Blind
Note: Look at Neville's footwear in the last photo. Dude has some big feet.
So Alone by Men at Large was one of my favorite Quiet Storm songs in the 90's. So Alone was their biggest hit.
Men at Large was an American R&B group from Cleveland, Ohio, whose members, David Tolliver and Jason Champion, frequently self-referenced their obesity. They scored several U.S. hits in the mid-1990s and were discovered by the late soul singer Gerald Levert. (Wikipedia)
A really nice and entertaining video montage illustrating some of Timbaland's (Timothy Mosley) recording productions. I had no idea he produced music for some of the artists featured in the video montage.
Your Sweetness (Is My Weakness) - an R&B/disco tune from 1978.

Matakite John Chong-Nee is said to be one of New Zealand's top hip hop and R&B music producers and writers. He is also a singer of Samoan heritage.
He is regarded as one of the best musicians in New Zealand. It's too bad he hasn't got much airplay in The United States. This guy has talent.

Video #1: Very nice smooth melodic Blues tune. Definitely demonstrates his soulfulness. My favorite. Video #2: R&B song with a twist of rap near the end. Hot, thick Samoan brotha helps to deliver the rap segment in the video. Video #3: Uptempo R&B song with a nice beat. Cute female in the video is the object of his affection.
In his latest video for his latest song, "Arab Money", rapper Busta Rhymes (Trevor Smith, Jr., May 20, 1972) appears with big bois Rick Ross and D.J. Khaled, who is of Palestinian descent. The catchy "Arab Money" is pumped on hip-hop radio and in clubs nationwide.
However, the song does not come without some controversy. Although the video above inflects "ARAB" in the hook of the rap song, some Arabs have accused Busta, who has a long history of controversial behavior and statements, of bigotry because of the "A-RAB" inflection in the original song.
Note: Pay close attention to the end of the video.
